Following for Prime Minister:-
My immediately following telegram [2] contains text of Prime Minister’s statement as provisionally approved at Cabinet this morning (Wednesday). There are passages still to be inserted relating to (a) rearmament and probably (b) Spain and (c) Anglo- Italian Conversations.
These will be telegraphed as soon as possible.
Text of the statement as now sent is subject to possible further amendment.
