Your 290. [1] Today at 1500 hours Indian Standard Time Sjahrir issued public statement for press and broadcasting which concluded as follows-
‘Under instructions from my Government, I am authorised to declare that the Government of the Republic of Indonesia will accept any impartial arbitration and will abide by the decisions of the Security Council with regard to the obligations, duties and responsibilities imposed by the United Nations’ Charter.’
