United Kingdom Government has not decided what attitude to take up at Security Council tomorrow but is clearly interested in possibility of securing an adjournment for a day or so.

2. Officials are working on question and Attlee and Bevin may discuss it tonight. McNeil told High Commissioner this evening that having failed in their efforts to dissuade the Dutch from Military action United Kingdom are in complete doubt as to what their next step should be.

3. It seems that recently they have not been in close touch with United States or Indonesia.

4. High Commissioner is to see McNeil Monday afternoon. Result will be reported immediately.
