Following is the text of the Joint Resolution in its latest form.

Paragraph 1 substitute ‘to respect the political independence of China and to be guided by the principles of the United Nations in their relations with China’.
Paragraph 2 replaces ‘Chinese people’ with ‘People of China’.
New paragraph 3 ‘to respect the existing treaties relating to China’.
Old paragraph 3 becomes paragraph 4.[1]
