Your telegram No. D.84. [1] Anglo-French declaration. His Majesty’s Government in the Commonwealth of Australia has given careful consideration to draft of declaration as supplemented in your telegram under reference. It regrets that it has not proved possible to secure the unanimity of all Dominion Governments as regards association of the Dominions with the declaration, but desires to express its agreement with the present draft as best meeting the needs and circumstances of the occasion.
