4 The copy of this cablegram on file AA: A1608, F33/1/5 was placed immediately behind a handwritten note reading: ‘Saw Mr. Watt of EA who says that Minister for EA win discuss matter with PM as soon as possible.
EA have rec’d cables from Mr. Casey on this subject.’ No further information on this proposal ha been found. Officer was not appointed to London.
