Your cablegrams Nos. 202 of 12th June [1] and 203 of 13th June [2]: His Majesty’s Government in the Commonwealth of Australia concurs in the proposals regarding the location of Australian troops in the United Kingdom. In connection with the command and administration of the A.I.F. in the United Kingdom it is desired that, subject to such modification as may be necessary, the principles set out in my cable No. 91 of 9th March [3] apply.
Regarding the powers, etc. of the G.O.C., A.I.F. [4], in the United Kingdom, the necessary Order in Council has been approved and contents are being cabled to the G.O.C.
