‘An Intelligence Report from Japanese Consul-General at Sydney [1] to Tokyo included name[s] of British men-of-war in the Harbour and details of power transmission line between Sydney and Newcastle, the floating dock at Newcastle, the B.H.P. munitions works at Newcastle, and of the inclusion of certain South Sea Islands in 8th Military District.’
