Please transmit today following letter to President of the Security Council:
Begins:
I have the honour to refer to the letter addressed to you on 31st October by the Permanent Representative of Malaysia regarding further acts of aggression committed by Indonesia against Malaysia.1
I am instructed to inform you that the Australian Government has acceded to the Malaysian Government’s request for assistance in repelling armed attack against Malaysian territory and that Australian troops have been engaged in operations against infiltrators from Indonesia.
